Our Mission

You might be asking what's up with the name. Well, it's just that, thick, wet and soggy, therefore we have a ton of Hogs, but we also have Deer and Turkey on a regular basis. That's what makes it so appealing.

I have lived in and hunted Florida my entire life (55+ years), so have more than a little knowledge about Florida wildlife and hunting. I leased the property so I could have a place to go hunting anytime I wanted and not have someone else dictating what I can and cannot do. After seeing how massive the property really is, I decided to allow others to enjoy the same benefits. The club is a simple member ran club whereas some basic rules are set, then all members have the property to do as they wish to make there hunting experience their own. Members suggest and vote on additional rules.

Why the change to primarily Hog hunting? I leased this property starting June 2023 with no prior knowledge of the property other than what others in that area told me but found that not all was 100% accurate, it's wet and it stays pretty wet. My initial intent was primarily a Deer club that allowed Turkey and Hog, but what I found over this past season is that with all the rain we had, starting with Hurricane, the Deer travel to higher ground when wet, but appear to come back when drying out, but with all the recent rains, the drying out part just isn't happening as fast as I would like. What I see on cameras is that we have a ton of Hogs on the property all the time, Turkeys pretty much every day, but the Deer come and go, but usually see them on a pretty regular basis. I'm an honest person and just can't justify selling memberships with only intent is to harvest Deer, therefor advertising it for what the property is good for and that is Hog hunting, but with added benefits of harvesting Deer and Turkey, and all FWC legal game.
